Kari Rindahl Endresen has worked with watercolors for almost 20 years. The recent years as a full time artist from her studio in Tromsø. She has also worked with lithographs in Oslo and Kristiansand.

Endresen was born and raised in Tromsø, but her roots go deep into the Nordland coast. This is also a region for gathering inspiration. Kari loves to play around with contrast, and through the years she has developed a distinctive and rugged watercolor technique. The northern norwegian landscape recur in her motives, and these strong contrasts and surprising shifts characterize both the color schemes, lighting and mood of her art.

Kari was born in Tromsø in 1968. She has been painting with watercolors since 1994, and has been a full time artist since 2008. She is autodidact.
